After four successful events, in Belgrade (2004, 2006), Zagreb (2005) and Sofia (2007), INTERGEO EAST is back in Belgrade (2008). Serbia and Belgrade, a city of cultural and economical importance, in South-East European region, will host INTERGEO EAST again for the third time. INTERGEO EAST bring new quality and discover new perspectives in areas of Land Management, Geoinformation, Building industry and Environment.
From 18 to 20 February 2008, the industry sectors land management, geoinformation, the construction industry and the environment meet for an exchange of knowledge and information through dialogue and communication.
INTERGEO EAST creates the opportunity for the exchange of experiences, successful research and work on solutions of current problems need a future-oriented dialogue that goes beyond boundaries between countries and interest groups. The INTERGEO EAST offers the chance for a dialogue on a number of different levels: international, national and interdisciplinary.
The main objective of the fair is to present to the visitors and participants the world leading companies, manufacturers and products in the area of geo-informatics – including geodesy, surveying, geo-spatial information systems and much more. This will keep the South East Europe market, informed with the state of the art methodologies and technologies, supporting on that way further development of knowledge based economies, particularly in Serbia.
The Conference will be organized with the goal to present the latest international and national knowledge, experience and achievements in the field of cadastre, concept of the national spatial data infrastructures, geo-informatics, building industry and environment area. It is also expected to get more articles and presentations concerning the state of the art hardware and software tools and products, particularly for the modern cadastre systems that is, land management and administration. The main topic is “Recent Problems in Geodesy and Related Fields with International Importance”.
